The song catalog is now updated with songs by Lee Hoiby,
Steven Mark Kohn, and Richard Pearson Thomas. Check it out! Meanwhile, we are
in Milwaukee, and I need to practice for some rehearsals. Some new songs by Richard
Pearson Thomas will probably be in soon. The new automated version of the Singers'
Bibliography is temporarily on hold as I am spending my time getting the catalog beefed
up.
We had a good performance of Figaro tonight, by the way!

Or maybe yesterday was the site's birthday? Reviewing the news pages actually suggests October 14 was the day I actually announced the site to the world....

Today I put 20 of the 27 songs in Steven Mark Kohn's haiku song set in the
database on my computer. I also received via email the first notes for Richard
Pearson Thomas' songs and a copy of the first song. I'll put the info for the first
song in tomorrow. I will update the on-line song catalog sometime between now and
this Sunday.
I noticed I had gotten off-track sometime in the dates on this news page. Whoops!
I fixed 'em all. So now, I will correctly announce that tomorrow is this
site's one month birthday. Huzzah! Huzzah!

Sunday I watched a friend of mine view the site for the first time. Because he
missed some big things on the site and because he had some interesting questions and
confusions, I decided to do a minor facelift on the site. If you came to the site
from the home page, you've already seen the biggest changes--which
are really pretty small, actually. Some other small changes will be coming soon as
well.
My laptop's battery power is probably going to run out soon so I will not get to enter
as many songs as I had hoped (if any). We have a Figaro in Rio Grande, OH, tonight,
and are currently en route from Morgantown, WV to the performance site. Once the
battery power runs out I'll get to working on some music.
Well, that's all I know! Oh yes, one more thing: I noticed that the site's
one-month-old birthday is in just a few days. Probably no raucus festivities are
planned, but at least it's a "fun fact" for the day.
Wow--these news pages sure get big fast! Another week or two and it will be time
to retire this one.
